Paying tribute to the beloved original "Beetlejuice" film, the newly released trailer features Winona Ryder reprising her iconic role as Lydia Deetz. She shares with her daughter, portrayed by Jenna Ortega, the haunting tale of Beetlejuice and his past torment of Lydia during her teenage years.

Ortega's character, skeptical of her mother's story, daringly utters Beetlejuice's name three times, unwittingly unleashing the mischievous spirit, once again played by Michael Keaton, from his confinement.

The trailer offers glimpses of the upcoming movie, with Beetlejuice wreaking havoc on the Deetz family anew.

Joining Ryder and Keaton, Catherine O'Hara returns to her role as Delia Deetz. The involvement of Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis, who starred in the original film, remains uncertain.

Adding to the excitement, Monica Bellucci, Willem Dafoe, and Justin Theroux join the cast.

Director Tim Burton makes a triumphant return, helming the sequel 36 years after the debut of the original "Beetlejuice."

Fans can mark their calendars for the theatrical release on September 6th.
